      KHOYA - NARIYAL BARFI                   Any Indian festival or auspicious occasion is incomplete without a sweet delicacy,specially laddu,barfi,etc.,etc. Barfi is usually made with mawa/khoya,chena,lentils,and so on. Here,I have made this barfi with khoya combine with coconut.Try this simple recipe,and make your festival more colorful,with family and friends.  Preparation time : 5 mins. Cooking time : 30 mins. Servings : 35 - 40 pieces Ingredients :  Khoya/mawa - 300 gms. Sugar/shakkar - 1 1/2 cups/250 gms. Dessicated coconut - 2 cups Green cardamom/choti elaichi pwd. - 1/2 tsp Tutti frutti - few pieces ( for decoration ) Method : Take the khoya on a big plate or thali and mash with the help of your palm,until smooth a nd even in texture. There are varieties of dishes you can make with this  green globules,and I have tried and tasted many of those. Here,sharing one of those ----which can be enjoyed as a starter or evening snacks.
